The PS4's 2TB Hard Drive Limit
Why do the early versions of the PS4 have a 2TB hard drive limit? Can the limit be worked around?
NOTE: According to the article listed below, the 3.50 update solves this issue, allowing drives up to 4TB (though why it's limited to 4TB is beyond me). I will be investigating this further.

Update:
It's definitely possible to use drives above 2TB without issues since 3.50. There is a new issue with the PS4 Pro and the PS4 Slim, though. The form factor has been altered, so the Nyko and similar products will no longer fit. This means you are, once again, limited to 2TB unless you resort to a manual solution, which is possible, but hardly plug and play.
