The Qingque of Honkai Impact 3rd | 484D Flame-Chaser: Aponia 687 | S0 DW / SS0 HS / S TA / 4* Dudu
This run is actually incredibly hard for a few reasons. For a competitive player you're better off skipping Misteln completely because not having to play at all is actually liberation; once you get her you'll have to put up with stuff like this. This isn't one of those times where bad crit just means a few points lost which non-perfectionists would find acceptable; bad crit here means your run won't even work. So any complaints about Misteln crit are completely justified lol.
Granted I'm still using S rank Terminal Aide so the fight is much harder, but I think even when TA is ranked up to SSS the innate issues with Misteln still remain when it comes to chasing scores. If there's a support release later on that fixes Misteln's crit rate maybe she is worth reconsidering, but until then this valkyrie is not for the faint of heart.
The four points of failure for this run are:
1. The rock not killing the final mob at 0:50 due to crit RNG. I really need the mob to die here so the finisher can hit Aponia instead for a headstart otherwise I won't be able to kill her in one rotation afterwards. The mob doesn't die maybe 20% of the time.
2. During the DPS sequence at 1:16 there is one attack Aponia can roll which is a big golden butterfly. This is the only attack that can interrupt you and if this happens you are guaranteed a reset. There's no counterplay to this; evading it just restarts your normal attack sequence over so it takes you longer to refill your spears. Using charged attack for iron body while you throw your 4 javelins does not do enough damage. This happens maybe 25% of the time.
3. Getting the SP for the final Senti ult at 2:25 is a huge pain in the ass With S TA, because her QTE gives less SP compared SS rank or better. This can potentially cause Senti's SP to be very tight at the end, depending on affixes and how much SP you farm during transition with evasions. In this run I did spend some time to sneak in bits of SP here and there (veteran watchers will notice that it happens at 0:29 and 1:08, I lose a point in both places), but there have been runs where I've been able to skip both and still manage to ult which let me pull ahead. The fastest final Senti ult I've ever gotten is 735, but unfortunately the run failed due to crit.
4. Misteln's final ult at 2:35 is a low SP cost ult (instead of the full 100 SP one), so it nerfs her crit rate a lot and the clean kill becomes very hard to get. Swords B does not need to be refreshed at 2:31 for a clean kill, but I took the 1 point loss and did it anyway just in case. I would say there's only a 10% chance of success for the clean kill which is abysmal, but if you're okay with clean up killing with Misteln's summons afterwards is only -5 points. If Aponia is still standing after that then it's truly game over.
As mentioned earlier without SP issues Senti can ult at 735+ which is a +2, and skipping the bonk for swords B refresh at the very end should be +1, so this rotation can probably get 690+ but it's a pretty difficult chase.
A final note, when using chains to get SP during transition at 1:37, it cannot be used until after Aponia starts attacking otherwise it will stall her and waste time.
Special thanks to @onemorebox148 for supporting me again with a CN bilibili ref; my initial score was only 671 before that.
Also a very very very special thanks to @mimimitsu for the video thumbnail!
