There we are, a couple days away from the release of Starfield. I've been playing Bethesda's games for almost twenty years now, in fact Oblivion was the game that made me buy my first graphic cards. I've been immersed in these worlds for the last 17 years and a retrospective on the studio's trajectory seemed interesting. But I wanted to reflect on the meaning of role-playing in these games, I wanted to put in words the changing design and voice my apprehension on the new opus.
