When I was younger, any open-world game was a hit with me. Pouring tens or even hundreds of hours in some titles was perfect for those winter nights and for my wallet since any game bought could last me a couple months. Today, like many of you I'm sure, I've developed a love-hate relationship with these games and I wanted to explore that feeling with this video.

I wanted to delve on why some games still give me that feeling I had back in the days and others feel like excruciatingly boring piece of media that make me cynical of our art.

And I know it's been a long time since my last upload, my health got worse, turns out I mostly likely don't have long covid but M.E. (myalgic encephalomyelitis which was known for a long time as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome). It's pretty bad, doing anything takes a lot, but if I don't do something like these videos I'll go crazy from boredom. So, at the incredible pace of an hour a day, sometime a little bit less, sometime a little bit more, I finally managed to put this one out.

Hope you enjoy and that my lacking cognitive abilities of the last couple of months don't hinder on the quality of the videos.

With love,
GA
