The Real Ghostbusters - 1987 - Arcade - Shortplay | 4K CRT Monitor Simulation
Shortplay + Attract mode of the game The Real Ghostbusters, the shoot em up arcade game by Dattta East. The game has been integer scaled to 4k, without bi-linear filtering, and retaining the original aspect ratio (display aspect ratio, not internal resolution). And captured using a filter that simulates the image of a CRT monitor. I also use a image of arcade machines as a bezel above the game, to create a nostalgic atmosphere.

GAME INFO:
The Real Ghostbusters is a shoot 'em up game loosely based on the animated series of the same name. It features 10 levels, each viewed from an angled overhead perspective. The player controls a member of the Ghostbusters team who must defend against various monsters and ghosts while completing each level on a time limit. Monsters are killed if the player shoots at them, and the player can earn bonus points by trapping each monster's soul, which is done by using a proton beam to suck in the ghost.
Developed and published by Data East in the United States. It is loosely based on the animated series of the same name. In Japan, Data East released it as a non-Ghostbusters arcade game under the title Meikyuu Hunter G.
