Of course, when trying to understand why World of Warcraft: Classic is so popular right now, the first thing that comes to mind is nostalgia, you know, the feeling where you long for the past. Yeah, Blizzard is definitely capitalizing on that, but another reason why the game is completely breaking Twitch has to do with the gaming landscape as a whole and, you guessed it, Fortnite. Believe it or not, it took 10 season, but it’s safe to say Fortnite is on the decline. In fact, it reached an all-time low in interest earlier this month according to Google Trends. The fact that the most popular game in the world is declining means players are looking at other games to play and stream, which led them to World of Warcraft: Classic.
