Hey everyone and Welcome back to another video, So Halo infinite just came with their new big update a little bit more than a week ago. Abd in case you missed it, This update added a new XP progression system the game, along with the new infection pvp mode and much more. It's actually my very first time enjoying Halo infinite again because the new progression system gives me an entirely new reason to play the game for. and now that the update has been out for a bit, lets take a look at the stats on steam and see if the playerbase has improved.

So, before the big update, Halo infinite has a peak of around 4000 players just on the steam platform alone every single day. After the new update came out, the playerbase has doubled itself to around 8000 players on its peak. after a few days of release, its now sitting at around 6000 players. Ofcourse this is only based steam numbers. so its not super accurate. but it does seem that the playerbase in general is very happy with all the changes just i am. The numbers are also very consistent and dont drop suddenly, which means that the new players are actually holding on to the game which is very healthy for the game.
