The Thought of You - TrackTribe (yt audio library)
So recently I've got back into Overwatch again and while there is a lot of hate currently for this game, There's actually one feature which still makes it very fun to play and i feel like other games should be doing this as well.
So if you watch this clip, everytime you use your weapon, The game will always tell you whether you've hit the target, This is both done visually and through a unique sound.
Even when you kill the target, It will give you this red skull right in the middle. And the name of the person you've killed will appear as well.
Now even when you dont kill the target, The game will still let you know you've participated in that kill and it directly announces it to you.
This type of system feels very rewarding because even if you play REALLY bad, you still get to know if you've been useful in some kind of way. Even if you miss almost everything.
Now, while there are SOME games right now that have done this perfectly as well, There's still plenty of games that still give you no information about assists or damage at all.
What do you think about this feature? Do you think more games need this? Let me know in the comments. Thank you for watching and I'll see you in the next one.
