The Return of the Blightergast Reanimators!
65My, how time flies!
One of the very first things (if not THE very first) I ever printed were the undead machine- like Wargast from Battle Yak Miniatures.
When I heard the Blightergast were back for another round of alchemical necromancy, I figured I needed to take a good look.
To further supplement the already existing range, this time around we are introduced to the Dregborn and Gallowglass units.
The Dregborn are just that- undead born from the dregs. They're your typical zombies, except pumped full of tubes and mechanical bits. Plus there's the icon bearer who looks like a mobile time bomb to blast your enemies with.
The Gallowglass are bigger than the Wargast but smaller than the blight- hulks. They're also much more heavily armed and armored. They give me a Cyberdemon vibe, and that's certainly a good thing!
Finally, we also get a Reanimatrix, one of the baddies responsible for bring all these abominations back to life.
There's plenty of options available for her, as well as the entire release. That's one thing I've always liked about Battle Yak's models- there's always been a ton of modular options!
