The Revenge of Shinobi, developed by the now defunct 3d Games and published by THQ, is a sequel for Game Boy Advance in the style similar to both the classic side-scroller Shinobi games and its modern iteration(s) for PS2 (Shinobi and Nightshade). The game incorporates more emphasis on exploration, level achievements, and learning abilities as the game progresses and mundane attack combos. However, compared to practically any other Shinobi game out there, this game comes off as unimaginative and highly mediocre. The levels and music are boring, as are the enemies, you have to find keys and solve basic puzzles, and the stylish action for which the series is known for is completely absent.
