The Road to SOLO | Helicopter Flight Training VLOG 14
Getting closer to the solo point in the R-22! The intermittent airspeed indicator errors were looked at by a mechanic once again, but is it fixed? Plus, Lester gets more hands off as I get more comfortable in the helicopter. (Check the bottom of the description for the full explanation if you don't want to wait for future videos to find out what happened)

NOTE: This VLOG happened several weeks ago. Since then, the helicopter went down for its annual inspection. More maintenance was done but it still wasn't fixed, so I stopped training until it was verified to be fixed. That happened recently (as of this posting) and the airspeed indicator is now fully operational and I've already soloed. Unfortunately, the delay means I can't do my checkride until the end of August (I had hoped to be done by now) due to examiner availability. In my pre-solo and solo episodes, I'll talk more about what happened and why I probably shouldn't have kept flying until it was 100% fixed.
