Last year, I found myself wandering around the abandoned Rockefeller Mine and mining camp on an extremely windy afternoon. Talc was mined at the Rockefeller Mine, and the site is marked with a collapsed trestle, a rickety ore bin that's on the verge of collapse, a deep vertical shaft, and a tunnel. The nearby mining camp has some stone ruins, artifacts, one of the largest can dumps I have ever seen at an abandoned mine, and a homemade, metal dragon that stands guard over the entire mine site!
