This is a recording of the Esports Research Colloquium on August 2, 2023. The idea of this colloquium is to provide a forum for knowledge exchange, for networking, and for discussing research ideas. In this session, Summer Scott and Urszula Klimczak discussed the role of a performance coach in esports.

About the speakers:

Summer Scott
Summer is a performance consultant with a remarkable background in esports. For over five years, she honed her skills at Counter Logic Gaming, where she started as a performance coach, then continued her work as the head of player development and, ultimately, the director of team operations.

Urszula Klimczak
Urszula is a dedicated performance coach with nearly a decade of experience in esports. She has been an integral part of the industry, working with various teams and players over the years. Currently, Urszula holds the position of Head of Player Development at ENCE, where she continues to support players’ performance, well-being, and growth.
