After explaining his background to the audience, he continued to define coaching and describe different learning designs as well as team dynamics in esports. After emphasizing on the need to research coaching in esports, he presented three research proposals including 1) a semi-structured interview study with esports coaches on talent in esports, 2) a semi-structured interview study with esports coaches on coaching practices (e.g., training periodization), and 3) a longitudinal study with professional teams to adopt a constraints-led coaching approach. Following the presentation by Kabir, Oliver and the audience engaged in a discussion on the research proposal.
