5Today we experienced a deep loss. Fredrico, our lifelong friend who's been here since the beginning has passed away.
Fredrico was an extraordinary fellow. The day Book Club's doors opened, Fredrico sat strong, stern, and true in that boat of his.
Although he was Book Club's mascot, he was also it's treasure. In the face of all of the near catalysmic events we've faced, Fredrico has sat with us a stalwart guardian, and most importantly...our friend.
Fredrico was not like the rest of us. For him, there was no second chances, no revives, no forms of resurrection. But his mortality did not make him weak by any means, in fact, it's what made him special
He appreciated life in a way we've long since forgotten. But even if we often forget how to treat life with this worlds insane and crazy cycles of life and death, we will never forget Fredrico.
May he rest in peace.
