What you need between the Button and the Pulse Generator. Circuits you can use that make it work like a real elevator, and stop players from breaking it.

From the simplest (and pretty useless) "Send Only" through the "Call / Go" I used on the Mk5.. to the ultimate "Call THEN Go" circuit.. which I didn't quite have room for in the 5x9 footprint.

These circuits, and the ideas behind them, should work just as well on any elevator.
