The Secret Separatist STEALTH DROIDS That Almost Wiped Out the 212th on Bandomeer - Star Wars
As the fight for control for Control of the Galaxy raged on and the Clone Wars became more intense, the Separatists Began to develop a variety of new Battle Droid types which they hoped would surprise their enemy, and give them a massive advantage on the battlefield. One of these was the highly secretive, and an incredibly effective Separatist Steal battle droid which had the ability to hide in a variety of locations, including underwater, where it would stalk its victim before popping at at the final moment to kill him. So, let's find out how Obi-Wan fared against these crazy battle droids.
The story begins on the very important Outer Rim Republic world of Bandomeer, which is proving to be crucial in the Grand army’s fight against the separatists. On Bandomeer, the Jedi rejects who were never good enough to be picked up by a Master were sent here to live their lives as farmers, to provide food for the very hungry Clone Army.
Obi-Wan is performing an inspection of the facilities in the area, and is being given a tour by someone who looks suspiciously like his long lost brother. The commander of the Jedi farming bass then asks Obi-Wan how it feels coming back to his old base…
Obi-Wan tells the commander that it feels very odd and that he was originally posted here as part of the Jedi Agricorps when he was a Jedi youngling, because none of the Jedi masters were interested in taking him on as a Padawan. That was until a man named qui-Gon Jin came along and noticed Obi-Wan's potential in the force, choosing to adopt him as a Padawan, and thankfully saving him from a life of farming with the other failed Jedi. On this very world, Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon fought side by side against Trade Federation Battle droids, assuring Qui-Gon Jinn that Obi-Wan was the right choice for his Padawan.
The farming commander then tells Obi-Wan that his control of the Force was always far stronger than the other Jedi who were stationed here as farmers, so it’s no surprise he was eventually stolen away, but tells Obi-Wan that the farmers here can use the force to assist them in their farming.
Following this, he also explains that the planet-wide farms on Bandomeer provide a crucial service to the Republic, and without them, the Clone Troopers across the Galaxy would Starve to death from lack of Rations. Obi-Wan is humbled to hear this and tells the commander that everyone plays their part in war, even those who don't think they are having an impact.
