Dev mentioned in the update that a fellow serial killer is present in 1980s mode. On my first ever playthrough, I actually encountered them whilst just exploring the town. Their sudden shift in dialogue was seriously spooky and was very well done.

If you couldn't tell, this is the younger version of the Hair Salon Owner that Ayano meets in 2022. I never expected her to be a killer, but this was pretty cool and bone-chilling. Only downside, is she is very brushed off and her tips feel like I'm having my handheld. It explains all the methods in so much detail, to the point that she breaks character and it just feels like I'm reading a walkthrough. I do understand that these tips are optional and you don't *need* to buy them, but I do feel like they need to be re-written so the player isn't just given every ins-and-outs of a feature.
