The Shinra HQ -Final Fantasy VII PC MODDED + ECHO-S VOICE MOD- (2023 GAIA VII REMASTER) Part 2
I'm playing Final Fantasy VII for the PC using Tifa's 7th Heaven catalogue of mods- i'm not using any total overhaul mods (such as New Threat) but i'm using lots of mods to improve the models, graphics, UI, movies, dialogue etc.
In particular I'm using the new ECHO-S Voice Overhaul Mod which adds day/night to the game, adds grunts, voice lines in battle and adds voiced dialogue for EVERY character and NPC in the whole game.
So in this video I'm also using other mods of course that enhances the textures, UI, graphics. In this video I'm using a Total Model Overhaul Mod from 2023 named "GAIA VII REMASTER" which aimed at replacing every single NPC, battle, summon and enemy creature model in the game - every single model in the game has been replaced with realistic looking models aiming to be like in the FF7 Remake - and unlike in the Cetra Project all the main characters have Remake-style, but there is also an add-on which I am using for Tifa to change her look into the original look in this style- the models are now taller than in the "Cetra Project" and don't have bugged shoulders or arms anymore due to a mismatch with the skeleton being taller than the model - every single model looks awesome and even the enemies are different compared to in the other mod - I'd say that this project has improved models and completely new models in comparison to the Cetra Project - most models are new but Barret I think is improved, as are some others. I didn't bother to change the battlefields so they are still 4x upscaled SYW original battlefields - I do have two battlefield-mods that would change them to be more colorful but for these models I'd like really gritty battlefields - not sure I have suitable ones. The Avatars/portraits are changed to realistic ones, and unlike the Cetra Project the GAIA VII Remaster didn't just change the models but a lot of stuff - it's a total remaster with many options.
- The GAIA VII REMASTER Model Overhaul mod from 2023 available on Nexus mods. I'm playing from outside of Aerith's House with Tifa, Barret and Cloud and until all of the Shinra Headquarters have been completed - ending the episode on the world-map outside of the village of Kalm.
I will speak a little bit in the video.
This video was made to try out the new ECHO-S Voice Overhaul mod after I spent some time the last two days updating 7th Heaven to the latest 3.0.0.5 version (required on Windows 7) and downloaded/updated a bunch of mods for it - I also still had many older mods that I re-added to the catalogue because they had disappeared.
FF7 is a JRPG or Japanese-Role-Playing-Game released for the PlayStation in 1997. I did buy it in 1998 for the PC and has owned it since then. In 2013 I had to buy the digital Square-Enix release of the game because the original 1998 title didn't install on Windows 7 - so the only way to play the game in 2013 with all the new mods was to buy the digital release on the Square-Enix store. That's the version I'm using here.
I also did own the PlayStation version back in the day and finished it on my PS2 then sold it.
I also do own the Steam version and the FF7 Remake for the PS4 - none of which I have played - and FF7 Remake Intergrade for the PC.
The reason I own the PS4 release is because I pre-ordered it. Then I changed my mind about playing it and waited on the PC release with mods instead.
The reason I own the Steam-release is because I just felt like I wanted it as the other 2013 release was a bit troublesome to install.
FF7 is the Final Fantasy game I've played the most out of. I've finished the original unmodified game on at least three computers between 1998-2002, on the PlayStation between 2001-2003 and then I've played a bunch of modified versions starting in 2006 and continuing until the modern day. I've never finished the Remake yet.
