Hello and welcome back all my theorist, I was diving into some research for my Vecna video and uncovered the location of the Creel house that as we know is being set up as thee focal point for Season 4. The final trailer told us every ending has a beginning and this is the origins of the upside down. In 1959 we have the Creel family showing up excited to move into their new home in Hawkins Indiana. Little did they know that something was trying to creep in from the other side.
Eventually Victor Creel would be imprisoned in a psychiatric facility for the brutal murders of his family claiming that a "Vengeful Demon" was to blame. Which is where we get into our first clues of the location of this house and the importance of it. The actor playing Victor Creel in Season 4 is Robert Englund who is famous for his portrayal of Freddy Krueger in Nightmare on
Elm street. Which Stranger Things has classically paid homage to 80's movies taking place in that time period, so bringing on the Actor to play a part in the show makes sense.
So much sense that when taking a look at the Hawkins map that Hopper used diligently tracking down the source of disturbances in Season 2 tracing back to Hawkins lab. Just to the right of the lab we have a little road called Elm street. Looks like this could be where the nightmares all began. Interestingly enough there is another road that intersects with Elm street called Bollier Ave. As we know Freddy Krueger stalked his victims in the boiler room and has a huge significance in the movies.
