Crazy Golf is a traditional seaside and summer holiday game in the UK. The first-ever Crazy Golf course was opened in Skegness in 1926.

The annual World Championships has been held in the seaside town since 2003.

Crazy golf is similar to Mini-golf and adventure golf and is enjoyed each year by many thousands of day-trippers to Britain’s coastal resorts. The essential difference is that Crazy Golf is designed to appeal to children and luck is a major factor in achieving a low score. That said, those at the top of this sport claim it is a game of great skill and mental strength.

Unlike golf, anyone can get a lucky Ace (hole in one) but those at the top of the leader board are the ones with a consistently low score for each round.

The Arnold Palmer crazy golf course is characterised by sunken felt greens, a concrete border, and obstacles such as the windmill with revolving sails. The toughest holes on this course are hole 5, the windmill, hole 8 the water mill, and hole 17 the lighthouse
