~~About the Stream~~
Hey there everyone, and welcome to the first part of my playthrough of The Talos Principle! I started streaming on March 26th 2019 with The Witness, a puzzle game (that I ended up really not enjoying but that's beside the point), and it's now unofficially a tradition that I play a puzzle game to celebrate each anniversary. I say unofficial because this is only the third time so far with it being my second anniversary.
In this first stream we pretty much hit the ground running controlling our robot, being guided by a god-like voice to solve puzzles (now THIS sounds like the Portal experience I originally wanted for my first stream). So we solve puzzles, we find out more about the world's lore through fragments of information left on computer terminals, and we're warned not to ascend the tower...it is forbidden... It becomes increasingly clear that I won't be completing this game in a single stream, so we will return to it another time.

~~About The Talos Principle~~
The Talos Principle is a 2014 narrative-based puzzle video game developed by Croteam and published by Devolver Digital. It was simultaneously released on Linux, OS X and Windows in December 2014, and later ported to several other different formats, including the PlayStation 4 (the format I'm playing it on). Played from a first- or third-person perspective, the player takes the role of a robot with a seemingly human consciousness as they explore a number of environments that include over 120 puzzles. Players are guided by Elohim, a disembodied entity who claims to have created the world for the robot, but warns them not to climb the tower at the centre. These environments interlock greenery, desert, and stone ruins with futuristic technology.
