~~About the Stream~~
Hey there everyone, and welcome to a very special stream as I celebrate my 200th time going online and being a fool! To celebrate this milestone I decided to play the first three console video games I ever remember playing, and seeing how far I can work my way through.
First of all I play Alex Kidd in Miracle World, the first game I played on my Sega Master System II as it was built into it. I played this game a whole lot as a child, all the way to the final level, but without ever finishing it as I couldn't solve the final puzzle as the clue to solve it was displayed in a Japanese reading manner, and as a child I didn't understand that.
After achieving a goal I've been waiting 29 years to achieve I move onto the Sega Master System version of Sonic the Hedgehog. This version is different to the Megadrive/Sega Genesis most people are familiar with and is a much more methodical platformer, and an absolute blast of nostalgia for me, with a whole host of memories attached to it.
After completing that game I move onto Super Mario Bros. I cheat slightly with this as rather than the original Nintendo Entertainment System I play the Super Mario All Stars version for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, just because it looks better. I play this game much further than I'd ever previously finished it...but you'll have to watch to find out how far!
Until next time...buh-bye!

~About Nostalgia Nation~~
Nostalgia Nation is a feature on my channel where I play old games I've played before, just because I want me a nostalgia hit. I started this feature with Final Fantasy IX in 2019, and it's now become a regular part of my channel.
~About Alex Kidd in Miracle World~~
Alex Kidd in Miracle World is a 2D platform game where players control Alex Kidd, a young martial artist who sets out to rescue the land of Radaxian from Janken the Great and restore the rightful ruler. The player must finish levels and overcome obstacles and puzzles in both scrolling and single-screen environments. Throughout the 17 stages, Alex faces many monsters and the three henchmen of Janken the Great, before facing Janken himself. Alex's punching ability is used to destroy enemies and to break rocks in order to access new paths and to collect items such as money which can then be used to purchase other items including vehicles such as motorbikes and helicopters. At the end of many stages, Alex plays rock-paper-scissors with one of Janken's henchmen. Alex dies with one hit, or by losing a game of rock, paper, scissors.
~About Sonic the Hedgehog (8-bit Edition)~~
Sonic the Hedgehog is a 1991 side-scrolling platform game and companion to the 16-bit Sega Genesis game of the same name for the 8-bit Game Gear and Master System consoles. Ancient—a studio founded by composer Yuzo Koshiro for the project—developed the game and Sega published it to promote the handheld Game Gear. The 8-bit Sonic is similar in style to its Genesis predecessor, but reduced in complexity to fit the 8-bit systems. The premise and story of the 8-bit Sonic are identical to that of the Genesis game: as the anthropomorphic hedgehog Sonic, the player must race through levels to rescue the imprisoned animals Doctor Robotnik plots to turn into robots. Gameplay is similar as well; Sonic collects rings while avoiding obstacles, but is paced slightly slower as the 8-bit version focuses more on exploration.
~About Super Mario Bros.~~
Super Mario Bros. is a platform game developed and published by Nintendo. The successor to the 1983 arcade game Mario Bros. and the first in the Super Mario series, it was released in 1985 for the Famicom in Japan. Following a limited US release for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in late 1985, it received a wide release in North America the same year and in PAL regions in 1987. Players control Mario, or his brother Luigi in the multiplayer mode, as they travel the Mushroom Kingdom to rescue Princess Toadstool from Bowser (King Koopa). They must traverse side-scrolling stages while avoiding hazards such as enemies and pits with the aid of power-ups such as the Super Mushroom, Fire Flower and Starman.
