Warsaw lives under the yoke of Russian rule and no one is happy with that state of affairs, least of all the salutors. Salutors, demons attracted to humans through their flaws, invisible to most but always influencing the emotions of those around them.
Thaumaturge. A magic user who can see, trap, and bind into service a saluator. You are Wictor, one such thaumaturge and you are being pulled back to Warsaw after so long away.

Family problems, demons, people influenced by demons, the authorities. You will face them all in your search for your father's legacy, the book that he used to control saluators.


In the end, everyone suffers their own demons.
