235There's nothing that makes us hate our friends more than their social media habits, and Snapchat takes it to the next level. Here's a look at 5 of the worst kinds of behaviors you'll see on Snapchat.
One common type of boring, pointless Snapchat story is when people constantly take videos of themselves walking from one place to another. It's one thing if they give some kind of commentary or rant in their snap, but more often than not, it's just walking feet, or maybe even just a shadow. What story is that telling us?
Another type of annoying Snapchat user is the stoner. I have no problem with people smoking weed, and I think it ought to be legalized. That being said, there's a type of person whose Snapchat story consist of nothing but weed stuff. Snap of bong rips. Snaps of smoke blowing into the camera. Snaps of their grinder. These Snapchat stories are often peppered with other snaps of them laying about their house doing absolutely nothing all day. Stop making the stereotypes true!
Similar to the person who walks everywhere on Snapchat, we have the person who takes selfies over and over again all day long. Sometimes they'll use a Snapchat lens, sometimes they won't, but basically all they have to say is "here, look at my face."
People who take Snapchat stories of entire concerts are the worst. It's fine to post just one or two so people know where you're at, but is it really necessary to show us the entire set? Snapchat will never sound or look as good as professional video, or even the videos taken with regular default phone camera apps. They also won't be broken up into multiple snaps with gaps in between. What's the point? Put your phone down and enjoy the show.
Finally, there's people who directly snap you their story. If you send a direct message to someone on Snapchat, it should be something that they specifically would appreciate. If something is on your Snapchat story for the whole world to see, there is no reason to also send it directly to the people. If they care, they'll see it.
