The Toxicity of Exclusivity
Most people will tell you exclusive games are the lifeblood of the gaming industry. That's not a surprising statement. It's fact. Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo literally make the majority of their sales from owning the studios outright or signing exclusivity deals. However, this is something that is actually rather toxic for the industry and the consumer. In this video I cover the toxicity of exclusivity and why the gaming industry would be better off if games were only timed exclusives. Not that it's a realistic expectation.
