About This New Cancelled Transformers Cancelled game titled: Project Goliath:
Just revealed online, "Project Goliath" was a secret Transformers project in development at Skydance Interactive before it was quietly cancelled. And now, thanks to newly released concept art by Adam Hartley, we finally get a glimpse at what this game could have been.
From an Optimus Prime design that blends G1 nostalgia with Bayverse detail…
To a Bumblebee inspired by Rise of the Beasts, complete with his dune buggy alt-mode…
Even a high-tech Exo-Suit, possibly hinting at ties to the Paramount film universe, man what could have been.
About Transformers: War for Cybertron (2010)
▶ Overview:
War for Cybertron takes place during the final days of the war on Cybertron before the Transformers flee to Earth. The game is divided into two campaigns: the Decepticon campaign, which focuses on Megatron's quest to harness Dark Energon, and the Autobot campaign, which follows Optimus Prime's efforts to stop him.
The gameplay involves third-person shooting with a focus on transforming between vehicle and robot forms. Each character has unique abilities, and the game features cooperative multiplayer modes.
The game was praised for its faithful representation of the Transformers universe, engaging storyline, and solid gameplay mechanics.
About Transformers: Fall of Cybertron (2012)
▶ Overview:
Fall of Cybertron is a direct sequel to War for Cybertron and continues the story of the Autobots' desperate struggle to survive as Cybertron falls into chaos. The game highlights key moments, such as the evacuation of the Autobots from Cybertron and the final battle between Optimus Prime and Megatron.
This game introduces new gameplay elements, including more varied mission structures, character-specific abilities, and improved combat mechanics. Players control different characters in each level, such as Grimlock, who has a unique transformation into a T-Rex robot.
The graphics and level design are more polished compared to its predecessor, and the game received acclaim for its emotional depth, particularly in showing the desperation and heroism of the Autobots as they fight against impossible odds.
