This series is titled "Mainline". You knew that. In reality a mainline is just a distance of track that is designed for higher volumes of higher speed traffic. It's not dedicated to a single loop. The reason I use the name differently is to describe the looped stopping service that runs its length. You knew all of this too.

Here's the thing. A mainline, in the normal sense, is eminently sensible. This looped monstrosity however is not. Made all the worse by the use of "life is easy now" Nafey's Wagons. In this video I explain why.
