The Two Player Clinger Winger bug in Battletoads (NES) - A Wild Glitch Appears! #shorts
789In Battletoads for the NES, there is a game breaking bug that prevents the second player from controlling his character in Level 11 Clinger-Winger. If two players can somehow make it all the way to the penultimate level, they will be unable to proceed until the second player takes a Game Over.
None of the second player's input will do anything on this level, with the exception of the pause button.
This game is already pretty impossible, but this horrible glitch makes it literally impossible to beat Battletoads with two players! The second player is forced to take a game over here, but if the first player beats the level, the second player can join him in the final stage.
