Note from Stocchi about Slot 2 Buffering: A third way to do this is to hold both down and A going into the menu (if you start above menu), and then use a third button to reapply the down + A press.

This three part series analyzes every menuing tip and trick that I know in Pokemon Red/Blue that saves time. This should be used as a resource to get better at menuing and improve your speedruns/Pokemon playing. The main difference I see between speedrunners lies in knowledge and execution of the techniques used in these videos, so hopefully this helps! This video looks at buffering inputs in item and shop menus, as well as introduces my goals for this series.
