Armed only with the knowledge of two seasons of the TV show and having skimmed some of the comics, I dive head-first and spoiler-free into Telltale's critically acclaimed adventure game based on The Walking Dead.

Having left the Crazy Train outside Savannah, Lee and chums make their way to the river front without any trouble at all. Once there they find Clem's parents waiting with a boat and they all sail to a tropical island, where they wait in palatial luxury until the whole zombie calamity blows over.

That's a lie of course. In actual fact everything just gets worse.
