1The Walking Dead (Telltale series) game is centered around Lee Everett, a former college professor who is being transported to prison when the zombie outbreak occurs. After the car he’s in crashes, Lee escapes and meets a young girl named Clementine, who has been surviving alone after her parents disappeared. Lee becomes her protector and, over the course of the season, the two form a strong father-daughter-like bond.
The game is split into five episodes, each with choices that affect the storyline and relationships with other survivors:
Episode 1: A New Day
Lee meets Clementine and other survivors, including Kenny, Katjaa, Doug, and Carley. The group faces immediate dangers from both zombies and humans. Lee and Clementine are forced to leave a relatively safe house after it’s overrun, and the group is forced to move on.
Episode 2: Starved for Help
The survivors arrive at a seemingly safe farm, but tensions rise when food becomes scarce. A group of cannibals led by Andy St. John reveals themselves, and the group must deal with betrayal and loss, including the death of a beloved character. Lee and Clementine’s bond deepens.
Episode 3: Long Road Ahead
The group is on the move again, this time seeking refuge in a hotel. The game delves into the dynamics of the group as internal strife begins to surface. Lee faces moral dilemmas, including decisions that will affect who lives and who dies.
Episode 4: Around Every Corner
The survivors make their way to Savannah, hoping to find safety and escape. However, the city is overrun with walkers, and more difficult choices must be made. Lee's protective nature toward Clementine is tested as their journey grows darker and the group faces even more ruthless human adversaries.
Episode 5: No Time Left
In the final episode, Lee and Clementine are pushed to their limits. The group faces its ultimate test as they encounter dangerous foes, and tragedy strikes. The game culminates in a devastating, emotional conclusion, where Lee’s fate is sealed and Clementine is left to survive on her own, setting the stage for future games.
