The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is an RPG created by CD Projekt Red for the PC in 2011, and later re-released in an Enhanced Edition again for the PC and also the Xbox 360 in 2012. Following on directly from the previous title, not too long after the initial assassination of King Foltest, the game picks up in the middle of a war.

Again we play as Geralt, and engineered human who is on a mission to find out who he is after having lost his memories. Geralt is a Witcher, a super human capable who's power stems from the consumption of special alchemical potions that enhance his body.

Unfortunately, not too long into his contract with King Foltest, something bad happens, he's branded a murderer, and he has to escape Temeria, all the while chasing the true culprit, and his past.

I often don't see this game talked about as it's often overshadowed by The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt. Is it worth playing? Check out my review to find out!
