2Geralt reunites with Lambert outside of Novigrad while hunting an ekimmara. They both go to collect their reward from the supervisor, Lund. Lambert angrily questions Lund about the location of someone named, Jad Karadin. Lund does not know but reveals an elf called, Vienne, at the Seven Cats Inn with more information. Lund is killed by Lambert shortly afterwards.
Geralt follows Lambert to the Seven Cats Inn to question the elf. Vienne only knows where the other members of Karadin's gang are. Hammond is at Faroe Isle and Selyse is in Tretogor running a brothel called The Black Lily.
Geralt goes to Faroe Isle and Lambert goes to Tretogor to gather more information. Hammond is found praying at a shrine east of Trottheim. When Geralt arrives to ask questions, Hammond and his men attack but are easily killed. Searching Hammond's corpse reveals a letter from Jad Karadin in Novigrad.
The two Wolf School witchers meet at the Nowhere Inn to share what they learned. Lambert knows where Jad Karadin is and the witchers head off to his residence. When they arrive, Karadin reveals he is a witcher from the Cat School and explains why Aiden died. Geralt must then decide either to spare or kill Karadin.
