Part 29 - The Battle of Kaer Morhen
After gathering our team, and finally reuniting with Ciri, we know the Wild Hunt will be hot on our tails, and will have to defend the Witcher Hold of Kaer Morhen. We have some last minute preparations with the team, before heading out to try and close off some portals, to prevent their numbers from being overwhelming. We fight, we run, we defend, and we ultimately save everyone, except one. Vessimir sacrifices himself to save us, and Ciri loses her cool, blowing up half the area. We end after having a funeral for the brave Witcher, and then visit Ciri's father, where we unknowingly doom Ciri's fate, by accepting the payment we are owed. But, we will play out those consequences and more, next time.
