Part 34 - I Shouldn't Have Taken The Money [The Bad Ending]
In this episode, we take care of our final order of business, and sneak onto the emperor's ship to free Fringilla, to help us in the final battle. With our team complete, we prepare for the second coming of the Wild Hunt. This time, the battle is on Skellige, and we are more under control this time. Ciri goes off in another direction, beating down tons of Wild Hunt soldiers, and eventually confronting Caranthir, the one creating the ice. Once the ice is dealt with, Geralt takes over, and defeats the Hunter. We then track down Eredin and have our battle to the death. Once the King is dead, Yennefer and Geralt have to race to a temple to try and rescue Ciri, before she sacrifices herself to stop the great white frost. She goes anyways, and unfortunately, while she is fighting, she remembers all our questionable choices, such as accepting money from her father, and loses the will to stay alive. Ciri is lost, and Geralt stricken by grief, heads back to Crookback Bog to track down the crone that took Ciri's medallion. We use the help of a werewolf, find the crone, and defeat her. We get her medallion back, but then what's left worth fighting for. We sit down, as monsters swarm the hut, and everything fades to black. With that, we have reached the end of the game, and achieved the worst ending, unfortunately. But, there's still time for some redemption, because we will be starting the first of two DLCs next time!
