Part 24 - Secrets of the Past and Defiling the Sacred Garden
In this episode we team up with Yennefer for a romp in the woods, and start with "borrowing" an ancient cursed mask, to track down hints of where Ciri might be. It destroys half the forest, but we are able to see some glimpses of past events. When we find the secrets of the past, we track the Wild Hunt's movements to a nearby village, and learn that it was attacked by the wild hunt. One potential survivor made it to a sacred garden, where a beast roams, and we must find him. We find his body, and in order to question him, Yennefer must use some powerful magic that ends up destroying and defiling the entire sacred garden. The locals aren't happy, and banish us from returning, but we learn some useful information. We decide to take a break here, and will continue searching for Ciri, next time.
