The Koshchey can dish out a lot of damage and often causes the bleeding effect, Swallow is a life saver if you're having problems, but I'd recommend the Willow potion above all, it prevents knock-down both here and against Azar.
Azar himself can't take that much damage, but often interrupts your attack sequences.
Pain and blinding effects cannot be prevented, but the Kiss potion protects you against bleeding (70%).
If you take a lot of damage from the Greater Brothers consider taking a swallow before finishing the second one off, especially if you killed Berengar. You will NOT be healed after the fight before facing off against Azar.

The game is called the Witcher, the combat revolves around clicking the attack button at the right time, which is actually a lot more exciting than it sounds. The Medium and Easy difficulty settings have more visible clues to indicate when to click next, however I play this game with the Hard difficulty setting. There are tons of choices, I tend to go with the sensible and moral choices, though this might put you at a disadvantage from time to time. I might upload videos for alternative choices after completing the entire story.
