This is a critique of The Witcher. It starts off with a small amount of frustration towards how to this day the game is bursting at its own seams. The amount of crashes and frame drops I had to put up with (as well as some unfortunate framing and glitching) were enough to stop me playing the game. I didn't though.

This video explains why. What I grew to love about this game. How it's heavily influenced by fantasy tropes, but everything is just that little bit different. How even though the infamous moral choices were a worthwhile aspect of the game, it was the characters that endeared me to this world more than anything.

I look forward to playing through The Witcher 2 sometime in the future.
