Bigby, having little patient for the Crooked Man's hospitality, demands to know who killed Faith and the others. The Crooked Man reveals the murderer was Georgie, who mistook his orders to kill the women. Bigby attempts to capture Georgie, but Mary appears, and with the others, attack Bigby, giving the opportunity for the Crooked Man to escape back to the city. Georgie is mortally wounded and Vivian takes him away in the Crooked Man's footprints, and Bigby, transforming to his werewolf form, gives chase through the city back to Georgie's club. There, he learns that Vivian was in on Georgie's plan from the start, as she is the girl with the ribbon around her neck from which all the other magical ribbons were created from, used to help to maintain the club's discretion for its clients. Realizing her plan was exposed, Vivian undoes her own ribbon, the only thing holding her head on and killing her, while breaking the spell on the other women. Traumatized by Vivian's death, a dying Georgie tells Bigby of a steelmill outside of town where the Crooked Man will likely be.
At the steelmill, Mary stalls Bigby by cloning herself numerous times to fight him. Bigby is forced to transform fully to his Big Bad Wolf form, and kills Mary. Bigby approaches the Crooked Man, who insists that he be taken back to the Woodlands for a fair trial. There, the gathered Fables are ready to commit the Crooked Man to the Wishing Well, but he attempts to sway them by comparing his actions to that of Crane and Snow, as well as his compassion to help Fables in need. He also points out that the only testimony that connects him to the deaths of Lily and Faith was what Georgie told Bigby, which is not reliable evidence. Nerissa suddenly appears, and freed of the ribbon's spell, claims she and the other women in Georgie's employ overheard the plan, providing the necessary evidence to convict the Crooked Man. The player at this point can chose to decapitate the Crooked Man, push him into the Wishing Well, or have him imprisoned at the Farm transformed into a voiceless crow to prevent tricking others.
In the epilogue, Snow and Bluebeard deal with the fallout of the Crooked Man's actions, while Bigby sees off those Fables being taken back to the Farm. Afterward, he encounters Nerissa, who is moving on with her life. She admits that she, Faith, and Lily were planning on blackmailing Georgie and effectively the Crooked Man as to free themselves from this employment, but when this plan was discovered, Georgie killed Faith. Nerissa was the one that left Faith's head at the Woodlands to get Bigby involved, and lied about hearing about the Crooked Man's involvement to assure his conviction. The two part ways, but before she leaves she says that he is not as bad everyone says he is. Bigby recalls numerous conversations between him, Nerissa, and Faith and their similar speech patterns. Other characters that makes her appear to be more involved than initially suspected leads to the speculation that Faith is glamoured as Nerissa just as in Allerleirauh or vice versa Narissa was acting as Faith to give Bigby an emotional reason to fight the Crooked Man. The player can chose to have Bigby chase after Faith or let her be before the game ends.
