When speedrunning Dark Souls 3 there is one thing that is always waiting to ruin your speedrun. Getting the DLC license error is the worst glitch in Dark Souls 3. It is completely random and can end your run or lose you huge amounts of time. No one in the community knows why it happens.

You can manually cause this error to happen by unchecking the DLC in steam but no one knows why it happens randomly on any patch when playing the game.
