Imagine voting 20 times a day for a terrible film like Army of the Dead to win an Oscar. What's even more comical is that your competition is the equally terrible "Cinderella". The Zack Snyder fandom is truly a bizarre collection of idiots. They attack James Gunn on Twitter for not including Cyborg (whose actor was fired by WB). They constantly prop the Snyderverse up like it's some 4D chess game that only master cinephiles can comprehend. It would be funny if it wasn't so embarrassing. Since they couldn't vote for The Justice League Snydercut, the instead opted for Army of the Dead. A movie so bad it went straight to Netflix. The 2022 Oscars are proving something I've learned long ago. Your typical moviegoer is not equipped to pick the best movies of the year. In this regard, the Academy was right. Now they are proving it.
