TheFlood plays Song of Horror Episode 2 - Part 1 - Daniel and Erica on the case
1NOTE: Audio was peaky for the first few minutes of this video, chat let me know we were peaking and it gets fixed about halfway through this episode.
Starting Episode 2, Daniel is back as an option and the search for the music box continues, Daniel is still having visions and thinks they must solve the mystery to end them!!!
We choose to play as Erica Faber whose father was the last known person with the box, so we head to his antique shop (that Erica manages) to investigate!
First-time blind play-through let's play song of horror episode 2.Going in with no knowledge and playing keyboard and mouse. Song of Horror promises an 'eldritch AI' that ensures no playthrough is ever exactly the same twice. Cool concept but what does it mean? Well... it means I'm CONSISTENTLY TERRIFIED. In episode 1 we had some very cool 'fear' mechanics and they've added yet another in episode 2, and you get a little more 'direct' with the evil that's lurking. I got slogged down a LITTLE more this episode with a puzzle or search, but at the same time, a lot of the fear moments were kicked up even further. The escalation continues.
Loving Song of Horror so far! Based on episode 2 it continues to be my favorite horror game of 2019 and I'm extremely excited to keep playing episode 3 and beyond.
