For almost 25 years, British software company TheGameCreators have been empowering would-be game developers with their products. Titles like DarkBASIC, FPS Creator, and GameGuru have spawned countless games. Yet their software has also often drawn as much criticism as praise, and today the future of their latest product, GameGuru MAX, remains uncertain.

TheGameCreators vs. The Fans is a feature-length documentary telling the story of how one man set out to change the world of indie game development.
