Ignite is a horror puzzle game in which your survival depends on you keeping a flame alight. Developed on and off between 2019 and 2021 in Game Guru, the game presented several huge technical hurdles which could not have been overcome without the help of AmenMoses. I lost enthusiasm shortly after producing this three level build in May 2021. But I've decided to release Ignite to the public today because, if I ever return to the project, I figured your feedback might be helpful.

Features:
- Custom weapons system coded by AmenMoses
- Realistic fire decals (made from real footage I shot of flaming torches)
- Collectable scrolls (the image they reveal is placeholder art in this demo, would be different for the full game)
- Readable notes
- Combination lock puzzle
- Foreboding ambience and a focus on atmospheric lighting.
Known issues:
- Users with graphics cards with 4GB of VRAM or less may struggle to load the third level. If this happens to you, you can try editing the line "standalonefreememorybetweenlevels" in the setup.ini to "1".
- Dying on level three can sometimes crash the game.
- Sprites don't scale correctly on non-standard aspect ratios like 32:9.
- Falling into water is meant to kill you, but for some reason it doesn't in this build.
- Flashlight is still enabled, which we meant to comment out, but forgot...whoops!
