There is No Light—a 2D dark fantasy souls-like from first-time developer Zelart—is my favorite game of the year-to-date (no, I haven't played Elden Ring). It's brutal, it's beautiful, and its world-building lore is simply next-level. I can't wait for the internet to lose its mind over this game.
