I convey my commendation to @PiecesInteractive for designing a grand forefather survival horror game into beautifully reimagination that brought a message of classic vibes to mesmerize every horror-addicted fans nowadays. I heard some critics and gamers claimed this game is mediocre reimagination filled with tedious storytelling and repetitive contents, particularly, unlike me appreciating a game which assessing its evolvement of presenting a survival horror genre in the video game generation of all time. Big cheers to a respective studio making a best approach and endeavor upon reimagining a forefather survival horror game.
Alone in the Dark is a 2024 survival horror video game developed by Pieces Interactive and published by THQ Nordic. The game is a reimagining of the original 1992 Alone in the Dark (a forefather survival horror game that landmarked the core genre generation ever since) and is the seventh installment in the Alone in the Dark video game series. Alone in the Dark follows Emily Hartwood (Jodie Comer) and private investigator Edward Carnby (David Harbour) as they travel to Derceto Manor, a home for the mentally fatigued, to investigate the disappearance of Jeremy Hartwood, Emily's uncle. Used in third person perspective (which is similar to recent Resident Evil remade game), rather than camera angle perspective featured in its original game.
