I hope you enjoyed having all those weapons at the end of E1M8 because you are on E2M1 the Deimos Anomaly and you have to reacquire your arsenal. This episode is a little more difficult than Episode 1 but it is nothing compared to Episode 3. Anyway this is the first level of Episode 2 The Shores of Hell. I manage to acquire a shotgun really early on from one of the former sergeants. No rocket launcher or chaingun in this level though. I do however manage to acquire a plasma gun and meet a new enemy the Cacodemon. This red flying tomato with sharp teeth shoots plasma balls out of his mouth that really hurts luckily if you have a rapid fire weapon you can successfully stun him so he can't fire his plasma. The plasma gun is a very powerful weapon and is best saved for Barons which become a regular enemy in this episode. There are none in this level though. As usual I'm playing through this episode on the Ultra Violence skill and getting 100 % kills and 100 % secrets. I also manage to get 100% items in this level. In the next part E2M2 Containment Area.
