Things I Really Like in Shadow Warrior (from 2013) | Commentary | 60fps
4I'm always very critical with video games, since they're the medium I spent the most time with, not only playing them, but also watching others play them and also reading about them.
Especially on my videos I feel like I'm rarely talking about what I actually like or even love about certain titles or just videogames in general.
And I want to change that!
In this commentary I'm going through a few things, which I find very enjoyable or that I very much like in the first Shadow Warrior (2013) from developer Flying Wild Hog.
Ranging from certain weapon or enemies types and different user interface elements to the look, feel and atmosphere in certain levels.
Keep in mind though that these are highly subjective and of course my opinion, based on two playthroughs, the first one back when the game came out and the second being more recent.
Overall I recorded around two and a half hour of footage for the video, over half of it during my second playthrough.
Footage was recorded with Dxtory at 1920x1080, 60fps, while playing the game at 2560x1080 (hence no HUD except for the crosshair).
Intro & outro overlays are done by myself as well as the custom chapter intros.
Custom fonts for the overlays, custom chapter intros and the thumbnail are Manteka (by Eduardo Araya) and Enigmatic (by Darren Rigby).
Game footage and the sound and image for the custom chapter intros are from Shadow Warrior (2013), developed by Flying Wild Hog and published by Devolver Digital.
