As we prepare for the upcoming MLB season, I wanted to take a second to share something about one of Baltimore's native sons: George Herman Ruth, or The Babe. He was actually born in my neighborhood and ran the streets as a young street urchin until he was sent to an industrial school for boys where he learned the skills that would ultimately turn him into an icon of the ages. Come along and see a few of our city's landmarks as we get ready for some baseball in a couple of weeks!
